Packing for a cruise is its own art form. You need versatility for shore excursions, polish for evening dining, and practicality for sea days, all within the limits of one suitcase. After countless Celebrity sailings, here are the products I simply won’t leave home without, plus my essential packing philosophy.
Organization

Item 01: Veken Packing Cubes Set
Brand: Veken

You simply cannot beat this set for the money. The complete Veken system includes packing cubes in a variety of solids and prints, plus three bonuses that make it a total game-changer: a hanging toiletries case that keeps your bathroom essentials accessible in the tiniest ship cabin, a dedicated shoe cube, and a separate bag for dirty clothes on the way home. Everything has its place — and your suitcase stays organized from embarkation day to disembarkation.
My Tip: I use one cube per category: tops, bottoms, swim, and undergarments. The shoe cube slides into the bottom of my rolling carry-on perfectly.
Footwear

Item 02: Roam Sneakers (His & Hers)
Brand: Kuru Footwear

We both have bad backs, and walking even on the ship for long periods can quickly become an issue. Kuru sneakers changed everything for us. The support is exceptional, yet they are incredibly lightweight. I am obsessed with the Bone Gray/Cloud Gray colorway: white sneakers elevate every outfit, from shorts and jeans to an unexpected, effortlessly chic look paired with a dress. One pair does it all. Even if you’re just relaxing on the balcony taking in the view.
Wear Them In First: Break your Kurus in at home for a week before the cruise — they mold to your foot and feel even better with a bit of wear.

Item 03: Pressure Sensor Electric Toothbrush 2.0
Brand: GuruNanda

I use an electric toothbrush at home, but used to pack a manual one for cruises until I discovered this rechargeable one. The genius is what it doesn’t have: no bulky charging base. It charges directly from my USB-C cord, making it incredibly easy to pack. A single charge lasts a minimum of 7 days, which takes me right through a full cruise week. The pressure sensor ensures I’m brushing correctly even when I’m rushing to shore.
Packing Note: It tucks right into the toiletries compartment of your Veken hanging case — see how everything works together?
Clothing

Item 04: Coastal Linen Shirt Dress
Brand: Line in the Sand

Versatility is everything when packing for a full week, and this linen shirt dress earns its space several times over. I wore it fully buttoned as a ship-to-shore dress, open over slacks and a nice t-shirt as a sophisticated evening topper, and tossed it over my bathing suit at the pool as a cover-up. Three completely different looks, one item. The coastal linen fabric keeps you cool in warm ports and doesn’t wrinkle excessively from being packed.
Styling Idea: Wear it belted with sandals for dinner ashore, then unbelted over a swimsuit for the pool the next morning.
