IYKYK. If you’ve been following me you really know that I JUST stepped off the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise and I am not ready to talk about it yet because when I DO, it’s going to be a whole thing. A BIG thing. Let’s just say I boarded with a certain level of skepticism and disembarked a full-on convert. More on that VERY soon.
But while I’m still shaking the sand out of my shoes, Margaritaville at Sea just dropped some seriously exciting news, and I am HERE for it.
ONE MILLION GUESTS.
One. Million. That’s not a typo.
The cruise line just welcomed and SURPRISED its one millionth guest aboard the Islander today, June 25th, and honestly, what a moment to witness. Can you even imagine being that lucky passenger?! One minute you’re boarding for a regular cruise day, and the next you’re the guest of honor at a milestone celebration. I love everything about that.
And the timing? Chef’s kiss. Today also marks the two-year anniversary of Islander’s debut from Port Tampa Bay. Two years, one million guests, and absolutely zero signs of slowing down. 🥂
Because here’s the thing that I learned while on board, Margaritaville at Sea didn’t just show up and survive. They THRIVED. What began as a scrappy single-ship startup has grown into one of North America’s fastest-growing cruise brands, and now they’re gearing up to add a third ship, Beachcomber, in January 2027.
Three ships. Millions of good vibes. And yours truly has officially been won over.
Stay tuned, because my full Paradise recap is coming, and let’s just say this one’s going to be fun to write. A LOT more fun than I had anticipated.
