Quite honestly, it’s been a while since I picked up a copy of Self Magazine.If I used to be a subscriber, but all of this lack of exercise and gaining weight kept me from facing what I should have been doing, and being reminded (and having to deal with the self loathing) wasn’t in the picture. What a fool I was.
I’ve repaired that now, and was excited to see Self’s interview with designer Rebecca Minkoff in a Five on 5 interview. I love Rebecca’s style (and her bags are drool worthy), and her answer about the size of the bag a woman should carry made me stop and think. Note to self – try wearing a clutch.

Watch for the March issue of Self Magazine, where you’ll get the latest on DENIM from the Denim Doctor @LindsayTHuggins. I can’t WAIT as I love the new brightly colored denim and am so happy that skinny jeans with tapered ankles are still in (great for us short gals).

I hate carrying a purse, but have to. With two kids, I always have to have some things in it for them.
I love, love, love Rebecca Minkoff! I try not to have too many things of the same designer (rule does not apply to Nanette Lepore though) but I have several things from past collections that I just can’t bear to part with.
Since becoming a WAHM I’m less style-rific in what I wear than what I used to be but getting caught up on Spring and Fall shows makes me miss it oh-so-much!
