Tomorrow I’m headed to Dearborn, MI to take part in the Go Further with Ford Trend Conference. We’ll be learning about future trends, and most importantly ecological trends not only in the automotive industry – but, across the board. Which got me to thinking about the art world and how they have been one of the first to jump on the 3 R’s trend.

This sculpture made entirely out of recycled bottles was created in partnership with the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development this past week on on Botafogo beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Illuminated from the inside, the giant fish create a magnificent beach glow.
