Bring on the winter coat, because this woman about town will shivering her way down the red carpet at the premiere of FROZEN (which opens in theaters the day BEFORE Thanksgiving – Nov. 27) starring Mr. S’s MAJOR CRUSH Idina Menzel, along with Josh Gad and Kristen Bell. This Broadway packed cast tells the classic Hans Christian Anderson story of The Snow Queen, in what promises to be a cornucopia for the senses. I’m already walking around the house singing “Let It Go.”
BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE
The long awaited story behind the making of Mary Poppins – Saving Mr. Banks is also on our agenda as I visit Los Angeles along with some of my dear friends. Ben and I have been talking about THIS FLICK since we first caught wind that it was being made. We’re talking Tom Hanks, Emma Thompson, Colin Farrell, and….YIKES what an all star cast this has. Rumor has it that we’ll be seeing Mr. Disney (played by Hanks) faults and all, something that we don’t often get to witness from the Disney studio. Hopefully, you’ll be in one of the cities that is hosting the limited opening on December 13th, otherwise you’ll have to wait for December 20th to see this MUST SEE movie.
Where would Mr. Banks BE, without the supercalifragelistic Mary Poppins herself? Disney will be releasing the 50th Anniversary edition of a classic that I remember loving when I was a kid (yes, it’s almost as old as I am….ALMOST).
